The American Express Blue Cash for Business Card is geared towards small business owners who want to take advantage of a cash-back benefits program.

The Blue Cash for Business card offers a variable percentage rebate on all purchases made with the card. For businesses within the OPEN Savings network, cardholders earn up to 5% cash back on purchases. Outside of the OPEN Savings network, cardholders earn up to 2.5% cash back on purchases. This percentage scheme lasts until the annual spending on the card reaches $15,000, at which point purchases made within the OPEN Savings network earn 2% cash back, and all other purchases earn 1% cash back.

In addition to the cash rebate program, cardholders are enrolled in the OPEN for Business program. This is a package of benefits for small business owners and includes things like unlimited additional fee-free cards, savings at businesses within the OPEN network (like AT&T and FedEx), expert business advice, and more.

As with most American Express cards, Blue Cash for Business comes with purchase protection, extended warranties on certain purchases, travel insurance, car rental insurance, travel accident insurance and the like.

Blue Cash for Business offers a 0% introductory APR for purchases and a low 7.99% rate on balance transfers made within the first six months. After the introductory period is up, the purchase APR stays within a pretty reasonable range. The card does not carry an annual fee.

Blue Cash for Business is a good card for businesses owners who could stand to save some money at certain locations. The reasonable interest rate makes it a little easier on business owners who may need to carry a balance for a month or two.
