If you love Disney, have kids, or are just a kid at heart, then you are sure to love the new Disney Rewards Visa Card offered by Chase Manhattan Bank. This low cost visa card comes with a Rewards Program centered on giving you, the cardholder, fantastic deals on Disney products including vacations and merchandise.

The Disney Rewards Visa comes with a zero percent introductory annual percentage rate (APR) for the first six months. After this introductory period, the APR increases to just 14.24 percent. The card also comes without an annual fee.

With the Rewards Program, you’ll earn a 1 percent rebate on all of your purchases. Chase will then convert that 1 percent rebate into Disney Reward Dollars at the rate of 1 reward dollar for every $100 spent on purchases. Reward dollars can then be redeemed for Disney products including Disney brand DVDs, toys, and clothing. They can also be used towards over night stays at Disney hotels and restaurants, and visits to Disney theme parks. A preset limit of 750 Disney Rewards Dollars has been set for each year and all dollars have to be used within a five-year period.

Other perks of this card include a zero percent interest rate on select purchased Disney Vacations for six months. New cardholders will also receive a $15 gift card from the Disney store after their first purchase. You will also receive special discounts and savings at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.

Similar to a platinum card, the Disney Rewards Visa Card also comes with auto rental insurance, travel accident insurance, and travel and emergency services including emergency cash and card replacement. You’ll also receive extended warranties on select purchases and purchase protection.

Finally, you also receive access to your account information where you can perform certain transactional functions on the Internet.
